Eligibility For Enrollment

• A child must be sixteen months of age to be eligible for entrance into the toddler program.

Acceptance Policy

1. Enrollment is based on a first come, first serve basis. Class sizes will not exceed an 8:1 ratio in the preschool and kindergarten programs and a 5:1 ratio in the toddler programs.
2. Toddler and Preschool students are registered in full week programs or can be matched with another child to create a full time space. Kindergarten students are registered for a minimum five days in every two week period. (based on the kindergarten calendar)
3. Currently Enrolled Families: Families who already have a child enrolled at Coppens Academy are given registration and program selection priority over families who do not - these children move ahead of the other children on the wait list.
4. A new child's registration will be considered as officially received and placed in queue when the completed and properly signed registration form is received by the academy director.
5. If a space is not available for a child at the time of registration, the child's name will be placed on the wait list for the requested program.
6. If a space becomes available for a wait listed child, the parent(s) will be notified immediately. Parents have one week to accept the available space and provide the required deposit or the space will be offered to the next child in line.
7. A deposit in the amount of half a month's fee for Daycare will be required to be paid when a space (opening) is confirmed available and offered for your child. The deposit must be paid within one week of this time or the space will be offered to the next person in line. Once the deposit is confirmed received, the space will be held for your child.

Application Procedures

A student will be considered for admissions when the following items have been received:

1. a $50 non-refundable application fee.
2. a completed application form

• Childcare payments are due bi-weekly on the Monday two weeks preceding childcare services. A post dated check / or / a completed preauthorized debit/credit application is due two weeks prior to your child's start date.
